Eriksberg is a small residential area with approximately 3,200 inhabitants. It is situated on a mountain and provides a splendid view of the natural environment and Lake Mälaren. There are both tenant-owner apartments and terraced houses in the area.

Communications

There are good communications in the area. If you take the metro towards Ropsten, you’ll be in central Stockholm in around 30 minutes. Excellent bus connections make it possible to travel to places such as Tumba and Rönninge, where there are connections with commuter trains.

Nature and recreation

Close to Eriksberg lies Lake Aspen, which offers an exciting, varied natural environment, interesting cultural environments and ancient monuments. For the younger ones, there is the Gulan leisure club at Hammerstaskolan as well as the Musikhuset recreation centre at Kärsbyskolan.

Culture and entertainment

Folkets hus in Hallunda, which is not far away, offers a full range of cultural and entertainment activities. You can go to the cinema, the theatre, dances, concerts, exhibitions and more. There is a library in the same building.

Shops and restaurants

There is a larger commercial centre, Hallunda Centrum, lower down the mountain. Here you will find all the everyday services you could possibly need, such as banking, a post office, a pharmacy, a currency exchange, groceries, women’s and men’s fashions, a jeweller’s, electronics, flowers, a Pressbyrån newsagent, gambling & tobacco, dry cleaning and tailoring, shoe repairs and key-cutting, hairdressing, a patisserie, restaurants and more. Other services include the employment office, the social insurance office, the tax office, the public dental service and the health centre. A few minutes’ drive away, there is a shopping centre with ICA Maxi, Bauhaus, Systembolaget, Biltema, Rusta and a larger bargain warehouse called EG’s. It’s also a short drive to Botkyrka Handelsplats in Fittja. Here there are shops and department stores such as Hornbach, Dollarstore, the Posten business service centre and also Exploria, the largest entertainment centre in Europe!

Schools and childcare

The area has two municipal preschools situated in a beautiful natural area that inspires both play and exploration. There are also two schools in the area: Hammerstaskolan, which offers preschool class to year nine, and Botkyrka Friskola, which is an independent school offering preschool class to year nine. They are both within walking distance of the metro and buses

Year built: 1976-1977
The association owns the properties Klockareberget 1 & 2 and Trällberget 5 in the Municipality of Botkyrka under a site-leasehold right. The properties include 367 apartments.
